Artificial Selection
Evolution is the change in the genetic makeup of a population over time. This change can be brought about naturally by the environment and artificially by humans.
In this lab lesson, you will perform artificial selection to reproduce offspring with a trait that will help a plant population increase its survival and reproductive success.
Determine the number of trichomes per plant on day 6 by dragging the
magnifying glass over each of
the plants in the growing containers. Record your observations in the
Student Guide.
