Steps for building ddTile interactive 1) Acquire the graphic base image. Store in images folder of course folder: Example: common/interactiveFrames/general/ddTiles/socialStudies8501/images/waState.png 2) Run workbench tool to create text for text file Location: common/interactiveFrames/general/ddTiles/fwDDLWorkbench.html 3) Load the base image. Path for the base image is relative to current ddTiles folder Example: socialStudies8501/images/waState.png 4) Add tiles and drag them to the correct location on the image 5) You can also add labels and a title. 6) Copy the text from the textArea box and paste into your text editor. (Sorry this is so crude. If we make enough of these, I'll come up with a better tool unless someone else beats me to it. 7) Save the text file to the course folder - be sure it has extension .txt Example: socialStudies/8501.1.1.1.txt 8) Update the frameload spec for blueJax. Currently I use a spreadsheet for this, but I think Daniel has a form to fill in. Interactive Path is always the same - it's the location of the ddTile html Frame interactivePath: /interactiveFrames/general/ddTiles/ifFWDDL.html Query String represents the location of the text file - so this will be different for each ddTile interactive It shows the location of the text file relative to the htmlFrame. Example below fileSpec:socialStudies8501/8501.1.1.1.txt 9) Frame Load test - Run the frame loader test frame at this location: http://eportal.education2020.com/Curriculum/Production%20Library/interactiveContent/frameLists/frameLoadTestFrame.html 10) Copy and paste the iFrame Path and Query String into the two text boxes. Press Load Frame to verify the frame loads. ddTile - file structure common interactiveFrames foundationalMath algebraOne geometry physicalScience general ddTiles ifFWDDL.html socialStudies8501 8501.1.1.1.txt images 8501.1.1.1.png lifeScience8... cellDiagram.txt images animalCell10.29.png
